MTP Elite Male-Male Patch Cord | Base-16 | Multi-Mode G651.OM4 | 3.0mm Features 16 Fibers MTP® patch cord cables are used for 200/400/800G QSFP-DD SR8 optics direct/interconect connection and supporting 200/400/800G transmission for Hyperscale Data Center. Type B 16 Fibers MTP®-16 trunk cable is suitable for 16-fiber parallel multi mode optical transceiver connections. The assemblies are offered in single row 16-fiber configurations to achieve high density physical contact for multi-fiber connectors in the market. The connector hardware offers a unique keying feature as opposed to the centered keying feature on the traditional MPO hardware. This new keying design, standardized by TIA 604-18 (FOCIS 18), IEC (61754-7-3) and IEC (61754-7-4), ensures proper mating of the MTP®-16 connector without inadvertently mating the 16 fiber connector hardware with standard MPO compliant hardware. MTP®-16 adapters are available in full or reduced flange mounting and opposed or aligned key orientation.
